Project Overview
Bee is an independent illustration project created for an illustration course. The piece explores the contrast between productivity and rest by depicting a bee, we commonly seen as a symbol of constant work, paused in a moment of sleep. The illustration serves as a gentle reminder that rest is not weakness, but a necessary part of sustainability and balance.

Concept
Bees are often portrayed as tireless workers, constantly building, collecting, and supporting the hive. This illustration intentionally captures a rare and intimate moment: a bee at rest. By shifting the narrative from productivity to pause, the piece invites viewers to reflect on the importance of slowing down—even for the most dedicated workers.
